Greg and Cecilia, along with Greg’s father Joe have been operating Petersen's Farm for over 40 years and have a selection of exotic fruit and vegetables that they grow, not to mention the Rosellas!! Around 8 years ago Greg met Cecilia (nicknamed CC) and they found love almost instantly. The next chapter of this story is so wonderful as they immediately knew they had a great partnership working together on the farm. With CC already having experience in cooking with exotic fruits and vegetables, from the Philippines and Australia, CC's Kitchen was born. While Greg and his parents work the farm, keeping a hold of the land management, and observing every season with new rotational crops, CC is in her kitchen creating jams, chutneys and exotic foods with only ingredients made up from the farm. All natural, with no preservatives and of course made with love. Petersen's Farm is the hub for many exclusive, high-profile chefs to come in and acquire their fresh produce. They supply fine dining restaurants extending from Hervey Bay to Brisbane. Never forgetting of course their local customers in and around Woolooga and the South Burnett region who stop by almost every day to pick up their fresh produce at their shop on the farm. Now with an added commercial kitchen, CC and Greg have the vision to create a unique place where people from all over can come and see how their food is produced. CC and Greg have been working on their farm each year providing a sustainable and quality, healthy product, a one-stop shop for all your fruit and veggie needs. They practice sustainable farming by using leftover trees and plants from harvest to decompose and ensure they are circulating nutrients back into the soil for future farming seasons.CC and Greg are very busy with events, and you will see them around most food and wine festivals throughout Southeast Queensland.Keep an eye out for their sustainable brand and QR Code stickers on their packaging - coming soon! If you have any questions or would like to purchase produce and products from them send them a message at the top of their AgWe profile and follow them on their Facebook and Instagram for their everyday moments.
